Café Bliss is a small restaurant located
on The Leelanau, a beautiful peninsula jutting out into the
clear blue waters of Lake Michigan. The name derives from the
Native Americans who lived here first, and means “Land
of Delight.” Our aim was to create wonderful, healthy
food in an atmosphere to match, a place where great conversations
and good feeling could flourish. This would be dining at its
best, and in an age of mega-huge, we believed keeping it small
and personal was key. That was back in 1992, and since then
our small restaurant has won many honors and awards, including
requests from both Bon Appetit and Gourmet Magazines for
recipes we’ve created. For many tourists and locals alike,
no summer season would be complete without a meal at Café Bliss.
Their only complaint is that we close in the off-season!
