Just 15 minutes north of Traverse City, Suttons Bay is a
beautiful coastal village with some of the best shopping
and dining in northern Michigan. The drive up along historic
M-22 follows the eastern shoreline of the Leelanau Peninsula,
offering stunning vistas of Grand Traverse Bay and the Old
Mission Peninsula. M-22 turns into St. Joseph’s Avenue
in Suttons Bay. To get to Bliss, go north through the main
downtown area, past the Bay Theatre. We’re up about
a block further on the right, in a century-old victorian
home surrounded by lovely gardens. Parking is available either
right out front on St. Joseph's, or around back behind the
restaurant. The village park, library, public beach and marina
are also back there, along with the beautiful bay from which
